Amazon dashboard

Updated

The Amazon dashboard is the second Selltics app, marked Alpha. Open it from the management dashboard's home page (Open Amazon); its own sidebar links back to Management. You stay signed in across both.

The top of the Amazon dashboard: the Selltics Amazon logo with an Alpha badge, a Choose a profile selector and the user's name in the header, a sidebar with Home, Portfolios and Management, and the Portfolios page with the table columns Action name, Period - UTC, Budget, Portfolio and Next activation in

What it holds today

  • The header — the profile selector and, when you belong to more than one organization, an organization switcher.
    • The organization choice is shared with the management dashboard; switching clears the selected profiles.
    • The selector lists only profiles with an Amazon Ads source: a Selling Partner-only profile does not appear here.
  • Home — a heading and nothing else yet.
  • Portfolios — the scheduled portfolio budget changes of the selected profiles.

Not here yet

There are no reports or charts of your performance data in this dashboard yet: ask the AI analyst instead. A few pages reachable only by address — Anomalies, Charts and Custom Tables — are unfinished previews: Charts shows fixed example charts and the others stay empty.

Portfolio actions

A portfolio action changes an Amazon Ads portfolio's budget on a schedule. It is the only change Selltics makes in your Amazon account (see Connections).

The table

The table lists, per action:

  • its name;
  • its period (for example "Every monday at 08:00:00", in UTC);
  • the budget amount with its currency;
  • the portfolio;
  • the time to the next activation.

Adding, editing and deleting

Add new action opens a form:

  • Profile — one of the selected profiles, or any Amazon Ads profile when none is selected;
  • Action name;
  • Trigger time — every day or one weekday, at a full hour from 00:00 to 23:00 UTC;
  • Amount — the budget to set, in the profile's currency;
  • Portfolios — the portfolio, loaded from Amazon once a profile is chosen.

Edit changes an action, Delete removes it after a confirmation.

How an action runs

  • When an action is due, Selltics sets the portfolio's budget on Amazon to the amount, then schedules the next activation.
  • Selltics checks for due actions every minute.

Failures are not shown

If Amazon refuses the change, the action is marked as failed and not retried, and this table does not show that state.

Things to know

  • Creating, editing and deleting need the role permission Run portfolio automations. The screen shows the buttons to everyone; without the permission the server refuses the change.
  • Every portfolio with at least one action counts as a managed portfolio: 5 are free, then a block of 100 is billed per month (see Billing). Past the free 5, creating an action needs a positive balance.
  • A restricted member works only with the profiles they have access to.
  • Removing a profile or disconnecting its Amazon Ads connection removes its portfolio actions.
